Air-fryer cookbooks went into overdrive, taking the top two spots and filling the chart, Bored of Lunch, the Complete and Ultimate Air Fryer cookbooks, a whole genre spawned by one gadget. Atomic Habits held third, refusing to leave. The defining fiction story is romantasy's full takeover: Sarah J. Maas placed four A Court of Thorns and Roses titles and House of Flame and Shadow. Freida McFadden's The Housemaid launched a thriller juggernaut. The surprise is One Day returning to the chart, lifted decades on by its Netflix series. A year where a kitchen appliance and a fantasy-romance genre defined the bestseller list.
