Transition is everywhere: the Nintendo Switch 2 arrives, charting via Donkey Kong Bananza and a Switch 2 edition of EA SPORTS FC 26, while the original Switch's library carries on. Gift cards and controllers again top the list, with many blank positions in between. The playable highlights span generations — Ghost of Yotei and Battlefield 6 on PS5, Assassin's Creed Shadows, and Pokémon Legends: Z-A with its Mega Dimension DLC. Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 keeps the annual shooter alive, and the Super Mario Galaxy + Super Mario Galaxy 2 re-release mines nostalgia. A year poised on the edge of Nintendo's new hardware cycle.
