The big story is the Nintendo Switch launch — the console charts in Neon and Grey, with Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild and Super Mario Odyssey all storming the top ten. FIFA 18 and the usual Call of Duty: WWII hold the annual line, while Horizon: Zero Dawn brings a fresh PS4 hit. Splatoon 2 rounds out the Switch wave. With Nintendo's hybrid an instant success, the eighth generation found a thrilling third player.
