Revenge of the Sith closed the Star Wars saga at number one, but the year's oddest headline fact sits right behind it: The Ashes box set, a cricket review, charted at two. That documentary-and-event streak runs through the list, alongside Madagascar, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and War of the Worlds.
